Erin Petrie, owner of Coastal Dog Training, LLC

Erin has over ten years of experience with basic obedience training, puppy training, and formulating treatment plans to correct unwanted behaviors. She works with dogs and their owners to maintain a healthy relationship once the treatment plan has been achieved. Erin has experience working with and training all breeds of dogs, large and small, and specializes in training “bully” breeds (Pit Bulls, American Staffordshire Terriers, Bull Terriers, etc.)

A Silver Spring, Maryland native, Erin lived in Bethany Beach during the summers since childhood at her grandmothers beach cottage. Erin permanently moved to the area in 2002. She received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware. After graduation, she decided to follow her true calling and became a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College in 2012. Erin has devoted her life to helping her clients better understand their dogs and what their purpose is in order to create a balanced relationship between dogs and their humans.
